It’s time for 2012 Indy Pet Pride! This year’s event will be held on June 4th from 7-9 PM in the parking lot at 707 N. Senate Avenue in downtown Indianapolis. Pet Pride’s focus is to bring together the community and their dogs for what promises to be a barking good time! This event is free and open to the public.

Leashed dogs are encouraged to attend. For their enjoyment, there will be doggy pools, watering holes, and grassy areas. Attendees and their four-legged loved ones are encouraged to check out local vendors, rescue groups, and animal shelters, and mingle with supporters of the Indianapolis LGBT community.

Costumed dogs are encouraged to take a walk down the red carpet with Asia LaBouche of Talbott Street and compete in the celebrity judged Fashion Show! With a $5 registration, you can compete in one of these three great contests:

  • Pet/Owner Look-A-Like
  • Most Creative Costume
  • Most Couture Costume

The fee for entering the Fashion Show will be split between the Indy Pride Scholarship fund and a randomly chosen rescue group or shelter that is a vendor at Pet Pride. For more information and to register for the Fashion Show, please click HERE.

Pet Pride is sponsored by Three Dog Bakery, Broad Ripple Animal Clinic and Bark Tutor, Zesco, and GayIndy.com.
